Tatum managed to make 18-of-28 from the field and a career-high 9-of-14 from the 3-point line, showing how deep and versatility he has in the bag.
It was clear that the game was under Tatum’s Control, scoring 48 points in the third quarter. Hence, fans were keen to expect a breakout performance coming into the fourth in hopes of breaking the Celtic’s scoring record of 60 points — which he matched last year to tie Larry Bird but unfortunately fell short.

Tatum’s greenlight was on full throttle as he continued to make shot after shot. Fellow teammate Jaylen Brown added a double-double with 18-points and ten rebounds, shooting 4-of-9 from behind the arc. The whole Celtic team incredibly managed to make 49% of their shots from deep.
As for the opposition, Wizards’ star Bradley Beal fell short, scoring only 19 points and seven assists in a losing effort and teammate Avdija added 13 points off the bench.
The Boston Celtics will match up against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday at TD Garden arena.
