Tobi Amusan, the world record holder in the 100m hurdles, is set to inspire a new generation of athletes with her upcoming documentary, “Homecoming: The Tobi Amusan Story.”
The documentary will detail her journey from the early stages of her athletic career to her greatest triumphs, as well as the challenges she faced, including a high-profile drug ban that was eventually overturned.
It will also provide an in-depth look at the hard work and determination behind the scenes.
The announcement of the documentary marks Amusan’s first major public appearance in nearly three months.
She has stayed out of the spotlight and has not competed since her disappointing performance at the Paris Olympics.
The 27-year-old, who was considered a favorite to secure a podium finish, failed to qualify for the final of the women’s 100m hurdles.
After her setback at the Olympics, Amusan withdrew from several important events, including the Diamond League final in Brussels.
Amusan offered fans a sneak peek into her life story, as she shares the trailer of her feature film which is set for release early 2025.
