This thrilling match took place at the Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
The Flamingos dominated the game, with goals from Moshood (2′), Adegoke (13′), Abdulwahab (28′), and Afolabi (55′).
New Zealand’s sole goal was scored by Saxon in the 60′ minute.
This victory puts Nigeria at the top of Group A, with Ecuador following closely behind after their 2-0 win over the host team, Dominican Republic.
The Flamingos will face Ecuador in their next game on Saturday.
