Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has created his own ‘JLingz’ face masks worth £12 with all proceeds going straight to the NHS.
As part of the continued battle against the spread of the coronavirus, masks will become compulsory to wear on public transport in England on Monday June 15.
And the The England international took to Instagram on Friday to unveil the new design featuring his J-Lingz’ logo, before revealing that all proceeds will go straight to the NHS in their ongoing battle against the coronavirus crisis.
Lingard said on his social media page: ‘Hello everybody, I hope all is well. I hope everybody is staying safe. As you know from Monday 15th June, it is mandatory that everybody wears face masks on public transport.
‘So I have decided to create these, JLIngz face masks to protect you and others. Of course, all proceeds will go to the NHS, to help to continue the support they are doing.
‘They are doing an amazing job and this is a little thank you from me. So everybody stay safe out there. Lots of love, Jesse.’
On the ‘JLingz’ – his own clothing brand – website the face masks are described as ‘comfortable and easy to wear’ while they fit ‘all different face sizes and shapes.’
Lingard’s close friend and United team-mate, Marcus Rashford, has done plenty of charity work during the coronavirus pandemic – which has been aimed at feeding the most vulnerable people in society.
