Houston Rockets superstar James Harden has finally arrived in Orlando after missing the start of practice. Rumors were circulating about a possible COVID-19 positive for The Beard, but that hasn’t been officially reported by anyone.
Harden did not join the Houston Rockets when they arrived at Disney World last week, though coach Mike D’Antoni didn’t provide an explanation.
The Rockets have not disclosed a reason for Harden’s delayed arrival.
Russell Westbrook, Houston’s other All-Star guard, announced Monday that he tested positive for COVID-19 before the Rockets departed for Orlando.
The Rockets hope that Westbrook, who must test negative twice before he will be cleared to enter the NBA bubble, will be able to travel at some point this week.
Harden must quarantine in his hotel room before he is able to join his teammates at practice.
The Rockets (40-24) are currently the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. Their first game in Orlando is against the Dallas Mavericks on July 31
