Cameroon striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting grabbed a late winner as Paris St-Germain came from behind to beat Atalanta 2-1 to reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 25 years.
A Mario Pasalic strike gave Atalanta the lead in the 27th-minute of the game at an empty Estadio da Luz.
But Neymar then laid on a 90th-minute equaliser for Marquinhos and substitute Kylian Mbappe teed up former Choupo-Moting to slide in the winner.
The French champions’ reward is a place in the semi-finals of Europe’s elite club competition for the first time since 1995. They will play RB Leipzig or Atletico Madrid next Tuesday for a place in the final.
It is the first time PSG have gone beyond the last eight of the Champions League since the Qatari takeover of the club almost a decade ago and all the huge investment that has followed.
