Hannah Oduro will referee Ampem Darkoa Ladies versus Hasaacas Ladies as Ghana's women's season kicks off in Kumasi on October 16.
Ghana's women officials are getting a big stage to open the new campaign. Hannah Oduro has been appointed to referee the 2026/27 Women's Champion of Champions, a showpiece that puts African female officiating front and centre in the domestic game.
The clash pits Women's Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies against FA Cup holders Hasaacas Ladies. It will be played on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Otumfuo Astro Turf in Dichemso, Kumasi, and it officially starts the 2026/27 women's football season.
Oduro will be supported by assistant referees Linda Ayimpoka Asogro and Alberta Gyeimaa Gyau, with Mercy Boakyewaa Gyan serving as fourth official. Vivian Dapaah has been named match commissioner, while Christine Enyonam Zigah will assess the referee's performance. The appointments were announced by GFA Communications.
Fans arriving early will get a curtain-raiser at the same venue, where Fabulous Ladies take on the U-15 side of Dreamz Ladies. It is a fitting way to show both the established stars and the next generation of Ghana's women's game on one afternoon in Kumasi.
