Ransford Mensah insists Hearts of Oak will not suffer a repeat defeat to Vision FC when the Ghana Premier League action resumes on Saturday.
Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak are hunting redemption. Defender Ransford Mensah has promised the Phobians will not fall to Vision FC a second time when the sides meet on Saturday.
The Accra heavyweights still smart from a 1-0 loss to Vision in their last meeting, and Mensah says the squad has not forgotten it. "Yes, they defeated us the last time, but it's not going to happen again," he said, adding that the group is fully prepared for the rematch.
Hearts arrive with momentum. Frank Abora Duku struck in the 20th minute to give them a 1-0 win over Port City in matchweek six, a result that sent the club to second place in the table with eleven points from six games.
Now the Phobians must prove that form can carry over. The showdown takes place at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, with kick-off set for 3:00 pm. A win would strengthen Hearts' position near the top and settle the score with Vision FC.
