Premier League fixtures for 2020-21 season officially released

The fixtures for the 2020-21 Premier League have been released, with the season set to start on September 12.

Defending champions Liverpool will begin their title defence with a home game against newly-promoted Leeds United.

Chelsea and Arsenal will also face Brighton and Fulham, respectively, in the first round of fixtures.

Meanwhile, Manchester United and Manchester City have had their games postponed due to their extended runs in Europe.

The Red Devils were scheduled to face Burnley on the opening day of the season, while Pep Guardiola’s charges were also due to start the season with a game against Aston Villa.

The first big game of the 2010-21 Premier League season will come on matchday two when Chelsea host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
