Ghana's women hold a 3-0 lead and have named a strong side as they chase the next round of qualifying for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Ghana's Black Queens are one big afternoon away from moving closer to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, and head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has gone with a strong lineup to get the job done. Ghana host Mauritius in the second leg of their second-round qualifier at the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi, with kick-off set for 15:00.
The hosts carry a commanding 3-0 advantage from last Thursday's first leg in Mauritius, but the selection suggests there is no room for complacency. Cynthia Fiindib Konlan starts in goal, while Portia Boakye wears the armband and will lead the side from the back.
Susan Ama Duah and Josephine Bonsu are the full-backs, with Jennifer Cudjoe and Sharon Sampson providing protection in the holding midfield roles. Ahead of them, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Grace Asantewaa and Evelyn Badu form a midfield blending creativity with experience, tasked with controlling the tempo and feeding the front line.
Up top, Princella Adubea leads the attack, with Ajegipina Zakaria named alongside her in the forward line. Ghana will look to protect their cushion, finish the tie in front of their home fans and book their place in the next stage of the road to LA.
